Overview

Control where
it counts

Engineered for heavy haulage where steering control and site access matter. TRT’s ESS Modular Platform Trailer range gives operators predictable trailer response for positioning in tight yards, uneven approaches, and complex deliveries—while keeping the combination configurable for different loads.

Features

Core features like Electronic Steering System (ESS) and modular deck architecture are standard, with variations across axle configurations, deck setups, and connection modules. Add quick-connect clip-on modules and purpose-built accessories to match the load, route, and delivery conditions.

  • Axle configurations and combinations

Built to scale from a lead trailer through to larger ESS combinations, depending on payload and manoeuvring needs. Configure the set to suit turning requirements, site access, and the way your team loads and unloads. Discuss your combination

  • Deck setup and load support

Designed to carry long and awkward loads with practical deck arrangements and support options. Configure the platform to suit load length, lift points, and clearance requirements without over-complicating the job.

  • Quick-connect clip-on modules

Engineered for crews who need to change setups efficiently between jobs. Quick-connect clip-on modules are available across multiple axle module sizes, supporting faster configuration changes while keeping compatibility across the range. Check module compatibility

  • Lattice inserts

Designed to extend versatility for specialised loads and support scenarios. Lattice inserts integrate into the modular system to help tailor the platform to the job’s load shape and support needs.

  • Push-pull system

Engineered for controlled movement when precision placement is non-negotiable. A push-pull system option supports measured positioning and safer handling during tight site moves.

  • Ramp module

Designed to support practical loading approaches when access angles and site levels vary. Ramp module options help teams load and position equipment with more predictability on challenging ground.

  • Horizontal bolsters (beam mode)

Engineered for loads that benefit from beam-style support. Horizontal bolsters (beam mode) provide an option for handling specific load forms while maintaining the modular platform approach.

  • 2x8 load dividing dolly

Designed to help manage load distribution across the combination when required. The 2x8 load dividing dolly option supports trailer set-ups where sharing load across axles is part of the solution.

Specifications

Precision steering for seamless building relocation.

Built around 45° steering on every axle and a live fully compensating hydraulic gooseneck, the ESS Modular Platform range is configured to suit different site access and load lengths.

Use the specs to compare closed vs open dimensions, and see how deck length behind the neck varies by axle configuration—while keeping consistent axle spacing and Quick Connect compatibility across the range.
