More Sites. Less Setup. More Work.
Six models. Under 3 m wide. Zero boom assembly.
Kobelco's telescopic boom crawler range covers 4.9 t to 75 t in machines that transport under 3 m wide and deploy with a fully powered boom, no assembly crew, no second vehicle. That combination gets the crane to the job, gets it working quickly, and keeps it earning across back-to-back sites.
Every model in this range is built around the same principle: get to the site without an escort, set up without a crew, and work through the shift without dropping off.
KCROSS remote monitoring means the service team knows what the machine knows, from anywhere in the country, before a fault becomes a delay.
-
Sub-3 m Transport Width
A transport width under 3 m opens access to sites that wider machines simply cannot reach without permits, escorts, and time-of-day restrictions.
The crane comes off the road and onto the job, without the coordination overhead that cuts into a day's earning time. -
4-Plate Box Structural Boom (TK Series)
The 4-plate box construction is stiffer under side load than a standard oval or rectangular section, and built specifically for foundation work rather than adapted from a general-purpose lifting boom. On piling and auger jobs where the load cycles continuously and the boom takes lateral stress with every pass, that structural rigidity directly protects the machine.
-
Wet Winch System (TK Series)
The wet-type disc brake runs in oil, dissipating heat reliably across a high-cycle foundation shift where a dry brake would begin to fade under sustained use. The operator gets the same consistent stop on the hundredth pick of the day as the first. That predictability is what makes piling and auger work manageable, not nerve-wracking.
-
iNDr Engine Cooling System (CK Series)
The iNDr system channels all engine airflow through a single internal duct, which keeps cooling performance high while cutting operating noise to levels that earn the Japanese government's ultra-low designation. The result is a crane that works legally at night, in tunnels, and on urban sites with noise restrictions that would ground a standard machine.

KCROSS Remote Monitoring System
When KCROSS identifies a fault, the diagnostic data is already with the service team before anyone leaves the depot. For machines on remote civil sites or under tight programme schedules, that speed of diagnosis directly reduces downtime cost.
Capacity That Goes to Work
Transport width under 3 m is the number that opens access. Every model in this range hits it, which means the crane roads to sites that wider machines need permits and pilot vehicles to reach.
Above that, the range covers 4.9 t to 75 t at rated radius, with boom lengths from 4.25 m on the CK mini series up to 30.1 m on the TK750G/GFS.
Matching model to application is what the TRT crane team is there for.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can these cranes road without a wide-load permit?
The transport width across the full range is under 3 m, which means most configurations road without triggering wide-load permit requirements under standard NZ and Australian road transport regulations.
Specific road conditions and regional rules always apply, and TRT's crane team can talk through transport requirements for your operating area.
-
Does the boom need to be assembled on site?
No. The telescopic boom extends and retracts under full power. There are no sections to pin or carry separately. Drive in, extend, work. When the job moves, retract and drive out. The setup time difference against a lattice boom crane across a busy week is significant.
-
Are these cranes rated for foundation work, piling, and auger drilling, or just lifting?
The TK series is specifically configured for foundation applications. The 4-plate box structural boom handles the lateral stress of vibrating hammer and auger work, and the wet-type disc winch brake runs all day without fading under high-cycle load.
The approved attachment list covers vibrating hammer, auger drill, pile hammer, clamshell, and casing oscillator. These are not light-duty machines adapted for piling, they are built for it.
-
What is KCROSS and does it come standard?
KCROSS is Kobelco's satellite-based remote monitoring system. It transmits operating hours, fuel consumption, machine location, and maintenance status continuously. It comes standard on the range.
The practical upside for owners and fleet managers is that TRT's service team can access diagnostic data remotely, which means faster fault resolution and less time waiting on a service call to even begin.
-
What can the CK90UR and CK120UR do that a larger model cannot?
The CK mini series is rated to work in places the larger models cannot physically enter. Road and rail tunnels, underground utility trenches, elevated bridge decks, building sites with restricted access.
The iNDr engine cooling system brings operating noise down to a level that meets strict urban and nighttime noise limits. They also pick and carry at boom lengths up to 14.77 m, which adds utility that a crane of this size would not normally offer.
-
What does TRT's service and parts coverage look like after purchase?
TRT is the authorised Kobelco distributor in New Zealand. Genuine Kobelco parts are stocked and available nationally from TRT's branches in Hamilton, Auckland, and Christchurch.
The crane service team covers scheduled maintenance, inspections, and call-out support. After-hours support is available for urgent breakdowns. The parts network is built for the range, not pulled together on demand when something goes wrong.
